Dress Code

Our scholars are expected to come to school in the proper dress code policy every day. The dress code policy is intended to promote a more effective learning environment; foster school unity and pride; improve student performance; foster self–esteem; eliminate label competitions; simplify dressing, and minimize cost to parents.

Uniform is as follows:

  • Shorts, skirts, and/or dresses should be as long as knee length, not shorter than one inch from the knee.
  • Midriff must not be exposed.
  • Ripped pants of any kind are not permitted to be worn in school.
  • Pants should be worn at the waistline so that no underwear is visible.
  • Open toe shoes, sandals, and shoes without a backing (Crocs, Uggs, bubble slippers, Yeezy Slides, etc.) are not to be worn in school.
  • No outdoor clothing, such as coats, jackets, and hoodies may be worn over the school uniform. The school uniform must be visible at all times.
  • Tank or bare midriff tops, short skirts or short shorts, and any clothing advertising drugs (including alcohol), cigarettes, vulgarities, or violence of any kind will not be acceptable.
